Gordon Lightfoot has always been the kind of creative person that you never really ever required anything simply a superlative hits for. He always has those one or iI truly unspoilt songs from every album, and his compilations Gord’s Gold and Gord’s Gold V.2 prove this. Merely his true albums themselves ever seem like they’re wanting, and Harmony–surprisingly his 20th-is no different. Put together quite an cursorily later on his aneurysm in September of 2002, Lightfoot patch resting in the hospital, hired a ring to go in to the studio and lay down music to nine-spot demos that had already been recorded. And demos are exactly what they sound like. The production is weak, the music is played passing too dependable, and Lightfoot just sounds like he’s going through and through the motions. Surprisingly the iI resilient tracks of new euphony here, "Shellfish" and "The No Hotel" are the 2 that work the c. H. Best. But other than that, Harmony is yet some other forgettable album in the Lightfoot catalog that is non much to look at in the long run.
Matter of fact Gordon Lightfoot is playing for his fans but ! A lot can’t make his music , just he’s unique !
How around ( The No Hotel ).. it is easy, delicate, true, and comes to the heart in public security ! I would like the hale album but because of this extra ordinary cut !
